My baby LOVES dogs. She says “dog” at least 5 or 6 times a day and we don’t even have a dog. So, for her 1st birthday (in about 2 months) its gonna be a Dog Day;-D. Please don’t say she won’t remember, because I’d have to beg to differ. I remember my 1st birthday and her Dad has early memories, too.
Besided Clifford the Big Red Dog and real dogs, the pet store, etc., what are some other dog themed things? Ideas?

These dogs seemed to have been best friends before the smaller one got into an accident and hurt her leg. Since the accident the smaller dog has been rehabbing the leg and it’s getting better every day.
But we’re having setbacks when the 2nd largest dog of three (the largest minds her own business and doesn’t have a problem with either of the 2) is bullying the smaller injured dog.
The medium sized dog just mauls the small dog at any random point. Some days it can be calm, and some days we’d have to separate the two.
I’m taking care of some family’s dogs for the week, but I only own one dog. My dog always seems very aggressive towards other dogs, but they seem to be getting along alright. My dog is always trying to lick under the chin of one of the other dogs, and that dog doesn’t seem to like it much. Is that some type of communication, and if yes, what does it mean?
Also…since I’ve got you here:)… my dog keeps taking the toys aways from that particular dog. If the one dog starts playing by himself with a toy, or if they start a game of tug of war, my dog starts growling and takes the toy away. Is that how dogs normally play, or is my dog being a bit selfish?
Dog Park Association could win $500K

All dogs need love in order to lead happy, healthy lives. Since most breeds of hypoallergenic dogs are smaller, they will need even more love. There are several ways that you can show your dog that you love them. Spending time together, exercising, giving them healthy, nutritious food, and treating the dog with respect are all ways to show your love. In return, you will have a loyal companion that will respect and protect you, your family, and your home.
Most small breeds need to be around people in order to feel safe. Hypoallergenic breeds enjoy sitting on the couch together, curling up by their owner’s feet, and following you around the house when you are home. Spending time with your dog by playing fetch, sitting on the floor, and talking to your dog are all activities that your dog wants to do with you.
It is a common scenario – someone, walks into a pet store or animal shelter. They oooh and awww, pet and cuddle, and make cute baby noises. The next thing they know, they are on they way out of the store with thier prize in tow, happily on thier way home to begin acclimating each other. It may be a big dog or a small dog, an older dog or a younger puppy – everyone’s idea of the “perfect” dog is a little bit different.
However, all dogs, big and small, young and old, can benefit from dog training. Dog training can take your puppy from a cute little mess to an ideal housemate and beyond. The start: puppy training The majority of dog training for puppies is designed to make them better household companions. Most family pets will not extend their dog training beyond this phase. For working and competitive dogs, this aspect of dog training is only the beginning. Dog training on the puppy level can encompass a variety of styles.
